In her initial pursuits, Lisa attended Luzerne County Community College and received her Associates Degree in Graphic Design and Advertising. In May of 2019, she will graduate from Wilkes University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Design and Media Arts with a Minor in Art. While working with multiple clients over her 5 years of higher education, Lisa wanted to be able to create her own brand and offer her own graphic design and photography skills to others. She created BlackwellDesign in Spring of 2017 and has since created advertisement campaigns, store mockups, company business cards, shirts and order forms, poster series, website design and layout, stationary packages and even photography. Sometime in the near future, her plan is to move out of her home office and open her own studio where she can do both graphic design work and photography sessions.
Lisa started at Coal Creative in December 2018. As a Junior Graphic Designer, she is tasked with consistently balancing her workload to make sure she meets deadlines, maintaining organization, and having a ready-to-design work attitude. Having worked with some smaller freelance companies to produce branding and advertisements in the past, her position at Coal Creative is nothing new and feels like a perfect fit. You can follow her professionally on LinkedIn, check out her pins on Pinterest, follow her on Facebook, see her smile on Instagram, see what all the chirp is about on Twitter and filter her out on Snapchat! Keep an eye out, because BlackwellDesign is coming soon to a studio near you!
