Hey everyone!
It was a short week last week because of our Memorial Day off, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a busy week here at CoalCreative. The week was spent finishing up video shoots for the EPIC Awards videos that will be shown at the event next Tuesday (stay tuned for photos of us at the award ceremony all dressed up, I would have to say we all clean up pretty nice.) In addition, the final Town Hall for the Wilkes-Barre Connect Engage! program was hosted at the Crestwood Industrial Park, and Will was there filming. Alex got the opportunity to film at the United Way‘s Book Drive last week as well!
We celebrated our director of Business Development Holly’s birthday on Tuesday. Will semi-successfully supplied us with soft serve ice cream from Michael Mootz Ice Cream. While they were a tad melted, his Styrofoam cooler/cereal box cone holding contraption got them here in one piece. Unfortunately, we had to finish them unbelievably fast due to the melting, but Holly was able to enjoy her favorite, chocolate soft-serve with chocolate sprinkles, with us for her special day. Holly, we all want to say that we appreciate everything you do and we are all happy we got a chance to share your birthday with you, even if it was a few days early.
Friday was an exciting day in the office as we welcomed our four summer interns for their orientation! We got the chance to give them the office tour, film an intro video of them, and enjoy some of the Public Squares finest cuisine – Rodanos. We are so excited to get a chance to spend the summer with them. Keep an eye out on social for their introduction video!
