Throughout 2017, we are working with our interns to highlight 52 Creatives from the NEPA region. We believe creativity is a broad term that cannot be easily confined within the walls of one simple definition. We want to know what being creative means to you and how you bring that creativity to light.
Denny Corby is our thirteenth #NEPACreative of 2017. Denny brings creativity to the area through magic!
When asked if he had any inspiration or role models along the way, Denny replied, “You learn a lot from every person you meet. There are some magicians who I admire and who I look up to and can now happily call them my friends/family. But I also love learning about business, sales, and marketing. So more recently it’s been business people who I follow more and admire.”
Denny does mostly private events for companies and households, however he has hosted the AAF awards, had a public show with a friend at The Leonard, and will be performing in the Scranton Fringe Festival.
Denny emphasized how important networking has been for him and he went on to say that “lots of hard work, making and building relationships, reading lots of business books, failing and learning from those failures, pushing your comfort zone, constantly learning and educating myself, and networking” have all contributed to his journey to success.
