‘Twas the holiday season, and all through the land, a jolly old soul was refreshing his brand. With the help of a team of creative go-getters, Santa landed on a story that was so much better!
When Santa came to us and said, “Coal Creative, won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?” we leapt at the chance. After some brainstorming with the reindeer and a few dozen cups of cocoa, we developed a campaign that’s sure to knock your stockings off.
In a world of dropshipping and same-day delivery, we needed to remind everyone that Santa Claus did it first. Before there were corporations and cross-country flights, there was a bearded man with a sleigh and a dream. By centering our campaign around Santa’s legacy as the always-on-time delivery driver, we solidified him as the hero of the holidays.
This year, Santa wrote us a letter asking for the works.

To keep Santa top of mind around the globe, we wrote and sent holiday emails (not that the kids needed a reminder).
Old Saint Nick may need no introduction, but his image needed a refresh. We modernized his look with a full branding package.
Now that the North Pole has WiFi, we helped bring Santa online with a state-of-the-art website—complete with a “Letter to Santa” form.
The big guy wanted to go big or go home, so our team designed out-of-home advertisements he could see from the sky.
