Presented each month by Internet marketing company Coal Creative and Wilkes-Barre Connect, an extension of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce, the free event is open to all creatives in NEPA, including artists, musicians, developers, graphic designers, writers, inventors, filmmakers, and photographers.
Due largely to increased growth in 2018, the company’s rebrand will more adequately reflect the scope and scale of its capabilities in the creation of a new website, tagline, logo, and new specialized positions within the team.

The Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce is hosting the third annual Young Professionals Awards at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at The Room at 900 in Forty Fort. Winners will be announced at the event.
Holly K. Pilcavage will be the Fall 2018 Convocation speaker at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, according to Student Affairs & Engagement. An NEPA Native, Pilcavage is currently the director of Business Development & Operations at CoalCreative, an Internet Marketing Company in downtown Wilkes-Barre.

The Coal Creative founder wanted to plan a game show. And with the backing of the Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce, Durling’s idea is coming to fruition on Wednesday, Feb. 15. “The Chamber Challenge” will begin at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at the THINK Center, 7 S. Main St. The idea pits two teams of five competing in four rounds of local trivia.
