A message from our CEO
While formally announced as the CEO of Coal Creative at our ribbon cutting celebration at our new office and studio space in downtown Wilkes-Barre, Holly K. Pilcavage has been leading the team of creative professionals that call Coal Creative home for the better part of three years.
Three years of navigating the rough waters of being a startup, three years of proving the stigmas about the millennial work ethic wrong, three years of putting her team and our community first.
As Coal Creative continues to grow, both in the quality of service that we offer our collaborators, and as a team, we remain committed to the core values that have brought us this far, with the main being a quote from Holly herself “Leave people, places and things better than you found them”.
A message from Holly K. Pilcavage:
“I am incredibly honored to step into the position of Chief Executive Officer of the company I have loved so passionately for over three years now. I fully believe in NEPA and the endless possibilities ahead available to us right here in Downtown Wilkes-Barre.
To our community, our collaborators, our partners: Thank you. Thank you for believing in Coal Creative over the years; for giving us a chance and allowing us to share our talents and passion through hundreds of projects to date. We’re always thrilled to be involved and help tell your stories, to shine the light on the good, hard work you’re doing within our region and beyond.
As a team of young professionals, we find motivation every single day to create new energy, to literally help fuel the transformation of our downtown, and help tell the stories of so many of our local businesses, organizations, and partners. At Coal Creative, we’re in the business of leading a positive narrative within our region, the place we call home, and I am absolutely thrilled for the opportunity to continue to lead and support this team while we make that happen.”
Special thanks to fellow female entrepreneur, Brittany Boote of Boote Photography for capturing Holly’s portraits.
