Keeping Up With the Coal Crew | March

Spring has (almost) sprung, and we couldn’t be happier here at Coal Creative! After the seemingly endless winter we’ve had, we can’t express to you enough how happy we are that things are finally starting to warm up around here. To help us get into the springtime mood, we wanted to share some of the things we’re most excited for this season!

“I’m dying to get out on a golf course this spring. It’s been a long winter, on top of a long and stressful year. A beautiful day on the golf course is a perfect way to decompress. Unless of course I’m having a bad round, in which case I’ll swear off the game of golf and consider throwing my clubs in the garbage. It’s a toss up, but I can’t wait to get out there.” –Alex, Production Manager

“I am personally really looking forward to anything outside! I go on daily walks with my mom and cousin to exercise – so I am eager to get back into that routine once the weather breaks. I also started a garden last year that I am really looking forward to digging into this spring!” –Camaryn, Business Development Manager

“To me, spring means two things: sunshine and beautiful flowers. I’m really looking forward to feeling the warm sun outside and seeing all the bright-colored flowers in bloom, especially daffodils.” –Samantha, Content Manager & Design Specialist

“I’m most excited to plant a vegetable garden this spring. My boyfriend and I bought a house last year, and we’re looking forward to lots of fun backyard projects in preparation for the warm weather. I’m also excited to break in my new roller skates and zoom around the neighborhood as soon as the snow melts!” –Bri, Content Specialist

“I like watching the world come back to life. Seeing colorful birds is a good omen for the lush colors to come.” –Jeremy, Project Manager

“I am most looking forward to opening my windows to let the fresh air in. A simple act but a game changer in my opinion. Everything feels like it breathes a little easier, and it’s a very welcomed shift after many months of battling the cold.” –Holly, CEO

“The thing I look forward to most in spring is gaining more daylight when the clocks change. Of course warmer weather, blossoms, birds chirping are all magical, but having extra hours of light and productivity always seems to help pull me out of the winter blues.” –Will, Post-Production Manager

“I’m looking forward to sitting on the porch at my parent’s with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds and the trees in the breeze.” –Travis, Web Developer

“What I’m looking forward to the most as the weather gets warmer is hopping on my bike and heading out on some nice long rides.” –Matt, Lead Web Developer & Lead Designer

“I’m looking forward to Vitamin D sufficiency, hiking, biking, and pickup basketball!” –Jordan, Video Production Specialist

“A true sign of spring for me is hearing the birds, bugs and frogs. Waking up and going to bed with those sounds is not only one of my favorite things about spring, it is one of my favorite things of all time.” –Sam, Creative Director

“I’m looking forward to the snow finally melting and being able to get outside again. Last spring I built a garden and I plan to expand it this year. Also I can’t wait to go golfing. My goal is to play all the local golf courses I haven’t been to yet.” –John, Web Specialist

“I’m most looking forward to the weather warming up so I could enjoy getting outside again. Last year, I was spending a lot of time walking and running on my local trail, as well as hiking in some nearby state parks. It was good to be able to disconnect from technology with some fresh air, so I’m looking forward to being able to do so again soon.” –Madison, Design Specialist

We hope you’re enjoying the changing seasons as much as we are! Until next month, Stay Coal!
