Northeast Sight Services used to be called the Greater Wilkes-Barre Association for the Blind. While this was a household name, the organization felt that the name wasn’t inclusive enough of all the amazing things they do for the visually impaired members of our community, not just the blind ones. So with 2018 being their 100 year centennial, they decided it was the perfect time for a name change. The new name was unveiled at the beginning of 2018 starting a slew of events and project to celebrate their monumental year.
CoalCreative has been fortunate enough to get the opportunity to work with Northeast Sight Services on a few of the projects to celebrate their anniversary and name change. Over the course of the last month we have been working with Amy Feldman and Sara Peperno of Northeast Sight Services on multiple videos to be shown at their Centennial Celebration on November 8th. These videos feature individuals such as sponsors, supporters, clients, employees and more who support Northeast Sight Services or have been supported by Northeast Sight Services. We cannot wait to finish up the projects and to see them come to life at the event on November 8th! For more information on the event and to learn how to get tickets, click here!
