As business owners, customer reviews can make or break us, and we become obsessed with trying to find ways to make those negative reviews go away. But what are you doing to further along positive reviews? Did you ever stop to just think to say…
Today’s tip is about giving thanks to your customers.
It’s nice to feel valued and the reality is, our businesses and organization wouldn’t exist without our customers!
While it is important to cater to negative reviews, it’s also important to keep in mind for every negative review you have five positive reviews waiting to be noticed. Be sure to take the time to stop and show appreciation for them. Shed some light on their positive feedback by sharing it to your own pages, reply to their comments and messages in a timely fashion, and maybe even try out a customer of the month program.
If you want to go the extra mile, send personalized thank you emails or handwritten notes or even host a small, in-house event labeled as “customer appreciation.” Happy customers are returning customers and also the people who will talk positively about you and your business to other people too!
Word of mouth is powerful and social media exemplifies how far it can go. Think about how you would feel if you were on the receiving end – or better yet – think about how it would feel to hear back from your customers who feel appreciated. Sounds worth it to me.
Thank you for watching/reading. 🙂
