Coal Creative was the proud recipient of three awards at AAF NEPA’s 2020 American Advertising Awards! The American Advertising Federation is the nation’s oldest advertising trade association and protects and promotes the well-being of advertising. It was a huge honor to simply be nominated, and the Coal Creative team was thrilled to take home three awards.

The event was held at The Woodlands Inn and featured dinner and a cocktail hour, followed by the presentation of the awards. Our CEO Holly Pilcavage and Creative Director Samuel O’Connell represented Coal Creative at the event. Coal Creative was recognized for our team’s collaborative work in the web and video categories, including two for, a wine and spirits consulting company,, a Scranton-based healthcare startup that helps healthcare providers stay connected to their patients, and one for Maxx Strength, a fitness company developing innovative and simple workout solutions.

Huge shoutout to our Web Development team lead by our lead Designer and Developer Matt. We received recognition in the “Consumer Website” category for, “B2B Website” category for, and “Internet Commercial” category for Maxx Strength’s Push Your Limits video (as seen below).

Our team also created the promo video for the event featuring host Eileen O’Brennan! Alex, our Production Manager, and Will, our Post-Production Manager, worked on this video and two others in anticipation of the event. You can view the primary promo video below:
